This is a ceramic tree spirit from Princess Mononoke. It was raku fired with white crackle glaze. The head was hollowed out so that it could be used as a tealight candle holder.

ive never seen princess mononoke but this thing is amazing the face is simply beautiful the smoke marks are amazing, i haven't tried raku yet but when i do i hope my work turns out as lovely as yours did.
